Dr David O’HARE graduated from medical school in Marseilles (South of France) in 1977. He set up his first private practice in that city then moved to Nîmes (South of France) until 2006. He there practiced a more integrative type of general medicine including homoeopathy, therapeutic breathing exercises and psychotherapy.

Dr. O’Hare also obtained several post-doctorate degrees: Dietetics and Nutrition, Aerospace Medicine and Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

For 30 years of private practice, Dr. O’Hare combined mainstream family medicine with cognitive and behavioral psychotherapy in the fields of stress and eating disorders. In those specific indications he included breathing techniques derived from a biofeedback method called Heart Coherence or Paced Breathing. The method was popularized in France by Dr. David Servan-Schreiber in his book "Guérir" (The Instinct to Heal). Dr. David Servan-Schreiber invited David O’Hare to teach with him in Paris at the Institute for Integrative Medicine he had founded there.

Dr. O’Hare retired from his private practice in 2006, he moved to Montreal in Canada. He now teaches to health professionals in French speaking European countries and in Quebec. He founded the Emnergie Institute in Montreal. He is a renowned French-speaking lecturer; he is also the author of several self-help books on the subject of Heart Coherence and its applications.

Dr. Litchfield earned his Ph.D. in experimental psychology from the University of Portland in 1972, his M.A. degree in psychology from San Diego State University in 1970, and his B.A. degree in psychology from the University of Michigan in 1964. He completed a one year sabbatical leave from California Polytechnic State University in behavioral medicine with T. X. Barber at Medfield Hospital, in Massachusetts 1975-1976. His areas of expertise include: behavioral medicine, behavioral physiology, applied psychophysiology, research design, behavioral pharmacology, placebo effects, biological learning and motivation, physiological monitoring instrumentation, and business planning. Respiratory psychophysiology and educational capnography have been his exclusive focus since 2000. He currently serves as President, CEO of the Graduate School of Breathing Sciences and as President of Better Physiology, Ltd.

Dr. Litchfield served as Assistant Professor of Psychology 1970-1974, was tenured in 1974, and served as Associate Professor of Psychology 1974-1981 at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, CA. He founded and directed: Proseminar Institute in San Francisco, 1976-1981; the Applied Psychophysiology Institute in San Francisco CA and Bainbridge Island WA, 1981-1997; Behavioral Physiology Institutes (a graduate school in behavioral medicine) in Bainbridge Island WA, 1997-1999; and Better Physiology, Ltd. (manufacturer of capnography instrumentation and provider of educational programs), 2000-2012. He has lectured for more than 40 years in person and by webinar on behavioral physiology, respiratory psychophysiology, self-regulation science, and business planning throughout North America and in Asia, Australia, Europe, and Latin America to diverse audiences, ranging from medical schools to corporate groups.

Allan Sousa built bridges in the past as a Civil Engineer. Now he is passionate about empowering people and building intra and interpersonal bridges. He is the Founder of Oxigenio, an organization that helps people reconnect with themselves, their breathing, body, emotions and thoughts in order to improve their health and energy.

Oxigenio also supports groups to connect with their deepest fears and conflict with changes and new ways to collaborate with each other in order to create connected organizations that inspire others. As a coach and yoga teacher, Allan manages mindfulness workshops as well as authentic communication and deep ecology ones in organizations. He has built a tiny house next to the Portuguese coast, wanting to shift lifestyle into a more simple and sustainable one.

Nathalie Erin-Durieu has taught singing and vocal technique in private lessons, vocal groups and in music schools for over 8 years after studying at the Conservatory. Beforehand she obtained a Masters Degree at the ESSEC, a Business School and while working in companies in Paris, she sensed the discomfort of people and their stress.

Thanks to all this life experience, she naturally goes the extra mile with her students and develops special relationships that enable Nathalie to understand their blocks and help them release themselves from those blocks.

Each voice reflects the soul and the personality of an individual. Together Nathalie and her students identify what can limit them in achieving goals and what can be done to go beyond limits.

Her technique « Free Voice(s)», practiced in workshops or in singing classes, helps students gain confidence, find themselves again and set them free through various types of breathing and singing exercises and games.

Dan BRULÉ is a pioneer in the field of Breathwork, a world renowned leader of the Spiritual Breathing Movement, and one of the originators of "Breath Therapy." He was first among the original group of Internationally Certified Rebirthers, and is a Master of Prana Yoga (The Hindu Science of Breath) and Chi Kung / Qigong (Chinese Medical Breathing Exercises).

He is the Founder of the Growth Center, Inc., and One Sky International Life Skills/Healing Arts Institute. More than 100,000 people in over 40 countries now apply Dan’s Breath Awareness and Conscious Breathing Exercises, Techniques, and Meditations, in their work and in their lives.

In Russia, Dan has done spiritual breathing training with over 25,000 people, including more than 1000 medical doctors, psychiatrists and psychologists. He took part in a ten-year breathing study with members of the Russian Academy of Science. And he worked with Olympic worldchampion Greco-roman wrestler Alexander Karelin, as well as members of the Russian judo, triathlon, tennis, and sailing teams.
